New Puppy Socialization Checklist
This helps to ensure that he grows up as a happy and confident dog.
New puppy socialization checklist. Our puppy socialization checklist is broken down into categories to ensure your range is extensive. Socializing your puppy is the single most important thing you can do as a new dog owner. Puppies should receive a minimum of one set of vaccines at least 7 days prior to the first class and a first deworming.
Friends or family members are probably more than willing to meet and play with your new puppy anyway, so think about paying them a visit so your puppy can meet people and explore a new place. The first part contains a priority checklist of activities you should try to expose your puppy to before they are 12 weeks old. Your puppy should experience a wide variety of people, places, sights, sounds and surfaces.
Puppy socialization is achieved by exposure to the experiences, sounds and smells of daily life to master what is normal and consequently anxiety free. During the first 3 months of your pup’s life, make sure you expose them to as many types of situations, people, and sounds. Your efforts help ensure that he is curious, confident and resilient throughout his life.

Socialization & exposure with your new puppy: Puppy socialization checklist congratulations on bringing a new puppy into your life! To meet and interact with living beings whether humans or other dogs and animals to understand how they communicate and how to behave alongside them. Socialization, with both humans and other dogs (plus other animals, if your new puppy is going to be around them), is one of the most important things to think about with your new puppy. It is divided into two parts of activities for you and your puppy to experience together.
